Yesterday I was arguing with my dad, he says I haven't tried to discover any new bands this year, I told him I was doing it with Chicago, and he said "It's the same as ELO!" And here is his observation.

Electric Light Orchestra/ Chicago

-Three string players in a normal rock group/ three trumpeters in a normal rock group

- iconic logo

- orchestral rock, progressive rock/ Jazz Rock

-Guitarist 🤝 keyboardist / guitarist 🤝 keyboardist

-debut in the 70's, decline in the late 80's

-mike Edwards died from an accidental gunshot/ Terry Kath died from an accidental gunshot

- both drummers published a memories book from the time with their respective bands

- Both bassists later had solo careers (I prefer Kelly's, sorry Pete)

- They have a song that everyone knows, but they don't know it's theirs

I couldn't compete against such valid arguments... I need to discover a new band this year—
